    Goucher College prohibits unlawful discrimination against and harassment of employees, students, and applicants for admission or employment on the basis of race (including traits associated with race such as hair texture, afro hairstyles, and protective hairstyles), color, ancestry or national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, religion, sex, age, genetic information or disability in its program and activities.

    The Title IX coordinator has also been designated to coordinate the college's efforts to comply the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, which prohibit discrimination on the basis of disability. In addition, the Title IX coordinator coordinates the college's efforts to comply with the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of age.

    Formal Complaint of Discrimination Form

    Discrimination based on protected characteristics is not tolerated at Goucher College, and formal complaints of discrimination will be investigated in a vigorous and timely manner. The information you provide in this form will be kept as confidential as is reasonably possible, although you should understand that the accused will be provided with a copy of your complaint. You may make this complaint anonymously, but please understand that doing so may impair the college's ability to conduct an effective investigation.
